On 10 July 2025, Maestro Ivan Repušić led the official opening of the 76th Dubrovnik Summer Festival in front of St. Blaise Church, featuring the traditional flag-raising and a performance of Himna slobodi (Hymn to Freedom) by Jakov Gotovac, with text by Ivan Gundulić, broadcast live on Croatia’s HRT1 television channel and Croatian Radio. The following day, at the same location, he opened the festival’s musical programme with a majestic ode to human fraternity—Ludwig van Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. The Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra thereby also celebrated its 100th anniversary, joined by the Ivan Goran Kovačić Academic Choir and outstanding Croatian soloists: Darija Auguštan, Martina Mikelić, Matteo Ivan Rašić, and Leon Košavić.
