On June 10, 2026, Maestro Ivan Repušić conducted his final concert as Chief Conductor of the Münchner Rundfunkorchester at the Prinzregententheater in Munich. With this performance, he concluded his nine-year tenure of artistic leadership, marked by numerous concert and recording successes, international guest appearances, and collaborations with distinguished musicians.

The emotional evening, titled Ivan Repušić & Friends, was much more than a concert: it was a tribute to a shared musical journey, friendships, collaborations, and artistic highlights that defined the past nine years.

For this special occasion, all artists who had held the title of Artist in Residence during Ivan Repušić’s tenure came together once again: Marina Rebeka, Krassimira Stoyanova, Charles Castronovo, Emmanuel Pahud, Radovan Vlatković, Matthias Höfs, Dejan Lazić, and Simone Rubino. The Münchner Rundfunkorchester was joined by the Chor des Bayerischen Rundfunks, while the programme was hosted by Annekatrin Hentschel.

The concert, sold out days in advance, was also broadcast live on BR-Klassik and streamed via the ARD Klassik YouTube channel.
