On 8 September 2025, at St. Krševan Church in Zadar, Maestro Ivan Repušić opened the new season of the Zadar Chamber Orchestra. Continuing the vision of Maestro Pavle Dešpalj and Prof. Petar Vrbančić for the orchestra as one of the main pillars of Zadar’s cultural life, Ivan Repušić has served as Chief Conductor for 20 years—the longest continuous period in the orchestra’s turbulent history. With this performance, Maestro Repušić celebrated not only his own milestone but also joined in marking the 40th anniversary of the Zadar Chamber Orchestra as an artistic organization and the 10th anniversary of virtuoso Roman Simović (also the soloist) in his role as honorary concertmaster. The programme featured works by Antonio Vivaldi and Astor Piazzolla. The concert was covered by Zadarski list, for which Maestro Repušić also gave an interview.
